The Tribunal has approved, subject to public interest-related conditions, the merger in which CFAO Mobility (Pty) Ltd (“CFAO Mobility”) will acquire NMI lsuzu Johannesburg (“NMI Isuzu”). Following the merger, CFAO Mobility will assume control of NMI Isuzu.
CFAO Mobility forms part of a broader automotive group involved in the sale of new and pre-owned passenger vehicles (PVs), light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and trucks. The group also provides after-sales support services including scheduled servicing and maintenance, mechanical and diagnostic repairs, warranty-related services and the supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) spare parts and accessories.
NMI Isuzu operates primarily in the sale of new and pre-owned PVs and LCVs, with a focus on the Isuzu brand. It offers after-sales support services through an authorised Isuzu service centre, including vehicle servicing and maintenance, mechanical and diagnostic repairs and supplying OEM spare parts and accessories to retail customers and fleet operators. NMI Isuzu also facilitates vehicle financing and insurance products.
