The Tribunal has unconditionally approved the large merger between Okavango Biology Luxembourg SARL (“Okavango”) and Sonnedix Solar South Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd (“Sonnedix”).
Okavango, incorporated in accordance with the laws of Luxembourg, is a holding company with interests in the renewable energy industry. It focuses on investment in renewable energy projects in Africa and has invested in projects within the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (“REIPPPP”) in South Africa.
Sonnedix is engaged in the development, construction and operation of solar energy projects. The Sonnedix Group develops, builds, owns, and operates solar power plants across Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (“OECD”) markets.
